Dish Network Returns to Power TV’s in Man Cave

One of the more fun areas of PorktoberQue is the Man Cave, sponsored this year by MIke Schmitz Automotive group. In the Man Cave, you can find a place to grab a seat, enjoy your lunch, and watch sports (SEC football!) on the 4 TV’s we have in the tent. Since the Farm Center doesn’t have a TV service provider already, we rely on Dish Network to help us get a good signal for the TV’s. We use Ronnie at Electronics Unlimited in Ozark to wire up all the TV’s and help us get the good games on the TV’s. Electronics Unlimited is located at 879 Andrews Ave in Ozark and you can call him at 334-445-0993 if you are interested in learning how you too can have crystal clear satellite TV in your house! He will also be set up at PorktoberQue and will be offering special deals to new subscribers. Stop by and see what he can do for you!

Football, Trucks, TV, Seating in Man Cave

Torn between spending the afternoon with your family at PorktoberQue and watching college football on TV? We’ve got the perfect solution! The Tri-State Truck Man Cave will be set up on the grassy area near the hog barn at the Farm Center. This large tent will feature several TVs showing football and tables and chairs so you can grab something to eat and drink, then sit and enjoy your favorite football game. Seating is limited but you can also bring a chair if you like.

There are lots of activities near the Man Cave as well, including the Continental Championship Wrestling Ring featuring local wrestling bouts throughout the weekend. Though there won’t be any big heavy hitters and it’s only a wrestling demo (no title matches) it will be entertaining and fun for all to see. Also near the Tri-State Truck Man Cave will be cooking demonstrations on the Wiley Wok (something you really need to see!), the Northview Cross Country Team People’s Choice Tasting Tent, the Corn Hole tournament and even the free KMX games area. The Man Cave is also just up the hill from the Saturday Classic Car Show.

DISH Network is powering the TV’s with their amazing satellites and we should be able to get the following games at PorktoberQue:

Alabama VS. University of Louisiana Monroe

Auburn versus Mississippi State

Plus, of course, there will be other other SEC and national games of interest. Also in the Tri-State Truck Man Cave will be some shopping opportunities for “manly” interests, including truck accessories, Yeti coolers, Komono Joe grills and smokers, and an assortment of other interesting items. Make sure you thank the folks at the Tri-State Truck Man Cave for sponsoring this part of PorktoberQue, because it’s one of the favorite areas of the event.

Free Obstacle Course Challenge at PorktoberQue

This year at PorktoberQue, spectators will have the opportunity to be named the King of the Cave (and also the Queen of the Cave or the Kid of the Cave) thanks to Tuffy Automotive. Just outside the Tuffy Man Cave, there will be a Bavarian Obstacle Course Challenge to see who is the best in the Cave.

The Challenge will involve some running and simple Oktoberfest themed activities and is free to participate in. The times scored will be posted on the Man Cave white board, and nice trophies and prizes will be awarded at the end of the event.  To participate, go to the Tuffy Man Cave (under the large tents) at PorktoberQue and sign up to run the Challenge!

Below is the artists rendition of the beautiful acrylic “crowns” that will be the trophies for the winners. So, take some time while at PorktoberQue to take the Cave Challenge!

Looking for The King

No, this isn’t a story about searching for Elvis. Watch the Game(s) in the Man Cave, thanks to DISH!

Sometimes our diehard SEC football fans don’t want to come to a Saturday event like PortktoberQue in the fall because it’s a football game day. We’ve taken that into consideration and removed that concern by creating the Mighty Auto Parts Man Cave, which will feature football games on multiple TV’s powered by the awesome satellite signal of Dish.  Some of the games scheduled to be shown include SEC favorites Alabama vs. Ole Miss at 1pm and also Georgia VS LSU. As we know in the South, there’s BOUND to be a great game on any given Saturday, so you can watch it in the Man Cave with your friends, enjoy a cold beer and let the family go shopping with the vendors or play on the inflatables. And, there’s no cost to come hang out in the man cave during the festival.

Special thanks to Electronics Limited, our local authorized Dish Dealer, who will be providing the satellite reception for the event. They will also have a booth at PorktoberQue September 27-28, 2013 so you can see for yourself how clear and affordable satellite TV really is. They will also have special incentives for people interested in subscribing to Dish.   Electronics Limited is Ozark’s home town Dish Network Authorized Retailer.  Established in 2009, Ronnie Giles and his team are dedicated to making your television viewing the best it can be.  From the application process to the process to follow up service, Electronics Limited is here for you.
