Blumhouse Games marks its debut with sixtitles announced during Summer Game Fest, including one that happens to be from the mind of one Brandon Cronenberg and game developer Sam Barlow, who fans may know from his work on Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. There’s a solid mix of styles in that debut slate, from a more retro 8-bit feel to the more modern graphics we’ve become accustomed to and a nice blend of RPG and puzzle games from the looks of it. As someone who habitually gets a bizarre false motion sickness from playing video games, I appreciate the fact that it looks like I may be able to try some of these! Now, let’s get into those six titles they just teased.
Fear the Spotlight

A creepy love letter to classic 90s teen horror stories, Fear the Spotlight is designed for a modern audience. Sneak into a school after hours with Vivian and Amy, survive a seance gone wrong, solve tactile puzzles and uncover the disturbing mystery behind a school tragedy decades before. And whatever you do, stay out of the spotlight. Fear the Spotlight will be launching later this year, and fans can wishlist the game here.
